North Creek’s Tannery Pond Center Announces Winter Coffeehouse Concert for February and March

The Tannery Pond Center in North Creek has announced their Winter Coffeehouse Concert series throughout February and March. These events include historical galleries, children’s events, musical concerts and more.

The center continues to host the 1920-40s exhibit on ski artifacts, titled “Ride Up, Slide Down: The Early Days of Skiing in North Creek,” from Jan. 8 to Feb. 15. The series continues with other events, such as Kids Art on Feb. 1 and a performance by The Circular Jazz Quartet on Feb. 2. 

Listeners can enjoy an indie folk performance by singer-songwriter Caity Gallagher and pianist Dan DeKalb on Sunday, Feb. 16 and a gallery featuring artist Tim Sauter, titled “Adirondack Wildlife: Paintings & Gourd Sculptures by Tim Sauter,” from Feb. 18 to March 29. The center will conclude their Winter Coffeehouse Concert series with Scott Hopkins & Joe Newberry in part of their Banjo Heartbeat Tour on Feb. 23 and a screening of films “Reviving The Legend” and “Variable” with a special Q&A section with the filmmakers on Feb. 28.
