Across the Massachusetts border, New York music lovers should mark the Green River Festival on their calendars. The Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield will host the three-day fest once again from June 20 to 22.

The festival, now in its 39th year, has cemented its reputation as one of the Northeast’s top music festival. The diverse lineup includes everything from the Latin-influenced instrumentals of LA LOM to the soulful vocals of Danielle Ponder, as well as ranges from indie rock to world music.

The festival turns the historical fairgrounds into a multi-stage music and community celebration. Throughout the weekend, there are family-friendly events, and camping options let festival-goers get the most out of their time there.
