Cool Cool Cool released their new powerhouse single “Dynamite” today, January 3rd. Paired with the recent release “Never Noticed,” the fiery energy of this funky seven piece band elicits heavy dance grooves.
These two songs complement each other, offering empowering messages of personal growth and confidence, encouraging listeners to maintain the best version of themselves while inspiring them to forge their own paths.
An anthem of self-liberation and resilience, “Dynamite” is fueled by the need to take back your life and show who you truly are. “Some things you’ll never learn, I was just born to burn”, lyrics paint the idea of individualism and freedom. “Dynamite” is bold, funky, and danceable- a high-energy track that ignites the spirit with its infectious rhythm and vibe, perfect for empowering any moment of self-discovery.
Singer Shira Elias said of the new track, “Above all else, we [Cool Cool Cool] love to make people dance and move, and with ‘Dynamite’, we wanted to marry the up-tempo dance track with an emotional and empowering sentiment and of course, take it out with some blazing trumpet. I love how we layered it all together between all of us to really create a textural world.”
Trumpter and keyboardist Chris Brouwers noted the journey these songs have taken in the band’s early career. “We wrote and recorded these songs while the band was still developing its own sound and direction. It was an incredible experience to lean into individual strengths, and trust each other. It’s been so much fun to perform them live and watch crowds discover their favorite moments; I’m excited to share this music with everyone.”
Looking ahead in 2025, Cool Cool Cool kick the year off with a run of shows in Florida, followed by a spring tour across Europe and the U.K., both a support act and band members of Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew’s Remain in Light tour, bringing their unmistakable sound to an international audience.
