The Disruption Network Hosts Instrument Drive to benefit Utica School District

The Disruption Network in conjunction with 92.7 F.M. the Drive and Big Apple Music is hosting a musical instrument drive and are actively looking for donations and support. The drive has been taking place throughout the summer, beginning on June 21 and going through September 5.

The donation of instruments will be presented by the Disruption Network and 92.7 The Drive at Proctor High School on Monday, Sept. 9, 2019. The goal is to get musical instruments into the hands of every child that would like to learn to play and to restock the instrument supply in the Utica School District.

Instrument Needs: violin, viola, cello, guitar, bass, clarinet, flute, French horn, trumpet, trombone, oboe, keyboard, recorder, saxophone (all types), percussion instruments (all types).

Accessory Needs: orchestra chairs, bows, strings, music stands, rosin, tuners, method and sheet books, metronomes, unused reeds, straps, drum sticks, cables,

Pizza Box- 933 South St. Utica  

The Utica City School District recognized music as being an important part of the educational program that is provided for students to help them receive a well-rounded education.

Students successfully develop and enhance their musical talents through participation in the various music programs offered, which can be seen throughout Utica schools and community during the year.
