Update: Peach Fest Finalizes Lineup

Update 6/6/2016:

The Peach Music Festival released the final lineup for their fest. The final lineup adds Gov’t Mule, Twiddle, Aqueous, Toots and the Maytals, Railroad Earth, American Babies, Cornmeal and Primate Fiasco, among others.

Also new this year will be after midnight sets on the main stage in addition to those on the Mushroom Stage.

Update 5/24/2016:

The Peach Music Festival announced the return of Scranton, Pennsylvania locals Cabinet to their lineup. This is the first of what they say will be a couple individual acts announced leading up to their announcement of the final lineup, which will be released soon.

The Peach Music Festival announced an impressive initial lineup for their fifth anniversary celebration with the Trey Anastasio Band, Gregg Allman and The String Cheese Incident headlining.

The fifth annual Peach Fest will be held Aug. 11 to 14 at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The headliners are not the only impressive part of the lineup. Gregg Allman will join forces with The String Cheese Incident as The Gregg Allman Incident. Les Claypool’s latest project, a collaboration with Sean Lennon, The Claypool Lennon Delirium will be there. Other big acts are Umphrey’s McGee and moe., who will be playing two sets. Other New York bands in the lineup include Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Turkuaz, Dopapod and Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds.

Being an Allman Brothers Band festival, there is a large presence of Allmans-related acts. In addition to Gregg Allman’s headlining set and his collaboration with The String Cheese Incident, there are two other big acts from past members – Les Brers features almost all the recent members of the Allman Bros. including Butch Trucks, Jaimoe, Oteil Burbridge and Marc Quiñones, and Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band.
