Drive-By Truckers Announce 2016 Tour and New Album

Drive-By Truckers have announced new tour dates for 2016, including two nights in Brooklyn and an Ithaca show.

The band, who, according to Jambase, will head back into the studio to record a new album in 2016, will play the Todo Santos Music Festival in Todos Santos, Mexico Jan. 20 to 23 and Panic en la Playa in the Riviera Maya in Mexico Feb. 2 to 6. They’ll return stateside for their 2016 HeAthens Homecoming shows in Athens, George Feb. 11 to 13. From there, the band heads out on tour through the mid-Atlantic states and Northeast before heading south to Carrboro, North Carolina. After a three-week break in late-March, the tour picks back up for a couple nights each in Alabama and Texas before ending in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Drive-By Truckers will play the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn March 6 and 7. They’ll be at The Haunt in Ithaca on March 12. Between those stops, they’ll be in Providence, Rhode Island, Portland, Maine and Jay, Vermont.
