Funktional Flow Celebrates CD Release this Saturday at Nietzches in Hometown Buffalo

Its been a long time since Funktional Flow has released an album and in that time there has also been a bit of a rotating cast of guitar players. The band has had a very good few years with appearances last year at notable festivals such as Night Lights and Catskill Chill.

The group went through some hardships when their guitarist left the band before the new year, and has had several guest appearances by local musicians Adam Bronstein and Joey Lewis. They have also had horn players  Matthew Lester and Oliver Chezliak join them during some events.

The group did see some tough love through these last few months but  it has really helped them grow and evolve to a much fuller sound and they are continuing to be a force in the western New York scene and will continue to put their funk stamp throughout the state.

Saturday night will be a shining moment for the group as they will be releasing their newest album,  Let it Settle at Nietzches in downtown Buffalo. The album will consist of many of the unreleased songs that fans have been wanting as well as a few brand new ones. There will also be a huge announcement during the show and you will want to be part of this special evening.

Sonder, another Buffalo stand out will be opening the show, their coming off of their own new cd release, Cymatics which came out this past November. Sonder is a live electronica and progressive rock group that will get any one amped up and ready and the band is perfectly slotted to open on a very memorable night. The group is slated to hit the stage at 9pm with two sets of Funktional Flow to follow.

Pre-sale tickets are still available at Terrapin StationPicasso Moon’s or online for $8 which includes a copy of the new album. Tickets can also be purchased at door for $12
