41st Annual Freihofer’s Jazz Fest at SPAC Announces Lineup for June 23-24

The 2018 Freihofer’s Jazz Festival at Saratoga Performing Arts Center has announced its lineup for the two-day festival on June 23-24.

Now in its 41st year, the Saratoga Jazz Festival continues to bring an all-star lineup of traditional and genre-crossing jazz artists. Headlining this year’s festival is legendary R&B/Gospel singer Mavis Staples with other extraordinary artists including Herbie Hancock, Jon Batiste, Chris Botti, and Gregory Porter among others.

The festival will once again feature a main stage in the amphitheater which will begin its lineup at 3pm each day. Before that, the newly built Charles R. Wood Jazz Discovery stage will begin at 11am both day (formerly known as the Gazebo stage on SPAC’s back lawn).

In an expansion on the two day festival, SPAC has announced “Saratoga Jazz Friday” which will bring together local jazz musicians at venues across Saratoga Springs.

Single-day and two-day passes are on sale now at spac.org. A discount on two-day passes is valid until June 1 and a special $20 student ticket is available as well.
