Charlie Puth to Make Tour Stop in Upstate NY in 2018

Rumson, New Jersey pop star, Charlie Puth, will have everyone’s “Attention,” when the auditory phenomenon’s “The Voicenotes Tour” makes a stop in the Capital Region this summer with Special Guest Hailee Steinfeld.

Puth will make a stop at two historic venues in New York state along the tour. The first stop takes place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on July 16 and the second will be at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs on July 22. Tickets cost between $20-$225, with VIP options available.

After some success making song videos for his YouTube channel, Puth became a household name with his debut number one hit single, and tribute to actor Paul Walker, “See You Again.” He co-wrote, and co-produced the track besides performing, along with hip hop musician Wiz Khalifa. The track won two Billboard Music Awards in 2016 for Top Hot 100 Song, and Top Rap Song. Puth’s debut album, Nine Track Mind, and his two hit singles, “Attention,” and “How Long,” from his upcoming Voicenotes album, have turned him into a pop sensation.

Puth suffered a near fatal dog-bite to his right eyebrow when he was two-years-old, leaving a permanent scar. His music teaching mother, Debra, taught him how to play piano at the age of four. In sixth grade, he recorded and produced a personal Christmas album, and sold it door to door, making around $600. Puth possesses a rare musical talent called perfect pitch that enables him to identify, or recreate music without a reference tone.
