WEQX Presents IAmDynamite at Vapor

Thursday, Oct. 13 IAmDynamite is playing a free show at the Vapor Night Club in Saratoga Springs. Joining them are special guests the LateShift and Hard Soul. The show is presented by WEQX radio.

Currently in the midst of a tour opening for Third Eye Blind, IAmDynamite is a rock duo comprised of old-time friends, Christopher Martin (vocals, guitar) and Chris Phillips (vocals, drums), originating from Ann Harbor, MI. The duo is a creative collaboration with an ’80s influence that stretches melodic songwriting skills into powerful songs driven by a beat that is sure to make you dance.

The band has just released its second album Wasa Tusa. In comparing the band’s first and second albums, Martin states, “Our first record was more of a documentation of our live show. This is our first record where the ultimate goal was to make cool and moving recordings, where the recording was the art form, not just a documentation of some songs. Our goal was to make recordings that make you feel something.” The video for “Where Will We Go” below gives a good indication of what you will hear from IAmDynamite. A little bit of pop, a little bit of heavy drums, a whole lot of fun.
