moe. to Play Star Wars-themed Halloween Show in Philly

Dust off your light sabers and Jedi robes, because moe. will play a Star Wars-themed Halloween concert in Philadelphia this year.

The run starts with a Friday night show featuring Cabinet as an opener, then on Halloween Saturday, the force will be strong at the Fillmore as Upstate’s biggest jam band pays tribute to the classic George Lucas movie series.

Costumes are encouraged, so you finally have a legit excuse to get your wook on.

This will be the second year in a row that moe. will use a movie theme for their Halloween show. Last year’s Big Lebowski-themed show included the band dressed as characters from the movie, a few songs from the soundtrack sprinkled between traditional moe. tunes, and clips of the band re-enacting scenes from the Coen Brothers classic.

A pre-sale starts at 10 a.m. Wednesday, and the public on-sale starts Friday.
