Formula 5 Announces Winter Tour

Formula 5, Upstate New York’s funk jam band, has announced an extensive winter tour throughout New York and New England. The four-piece from Albany and Lake George will hit the road over seven weeks, branching out to newer markets and returning to familiar stops throughout the Northeast.
F5_WinterTourFlyer_Front_v3-01January finds the band covering ground across the I-90, I-88 and I-87 corridors of New York, then heading east towards Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts over the next month. Formula 5 opens for Twiddle at home in New York, heads back to Brooklyn Bowl, celebrates Valentine’s Day in Lake George and wraps up the tour in Woodstock.F5WinterTour

Support at various stops of the tour include Rochester’s Upward Groove, Buffalo’s Universe Shark and Fredtown Stompers, Boston jam band The Jauntee and groove-rockers Strange Machines, Connecticut’s Goose and Moxa, New York-based Capital Zen, the Other Brothers, Sprocket, Teddy Midnight and Chromatropic, and Sammich from Vermont.

Various shows will be streamed for couch tour through Showtheshow.com, to be announced in January 2016.

Formula 5 is Joe Davis (guitar/vocals), Greg Marek (drums), James Woods (bass) and Matt Richards (keys/vocals).
