The Flaming Lips and Claypool Lennon Delirium Bringing Out the Weird for Summer Tour

The Flaming Lips have announced a 12-date Summer tour with the Lennon Claypool Delirium. The tour makes three New York stops — Artpark in Lewiston, The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester and at the Saranac Brewery in Utica.

Support will be provided by Particle Kid (Micah Nelson) who presents music, visual arts, and curious quantum relations such as space gnomes.

Sean Lennon and Les Claypool

The tour, in support of the Oklahoma group’s upcoming studio album entitled King’s Mouth: Music and Songs, takes place between July 23 and Aug. 7. The album had a limited release on Record Store Day earlier this month and will receive a widespread release on July 19.

The Claypool Lennon Delirium, a collaboration between Primus bass-master Les Claypool and Sean Lennon, recently released their second album as the Delirium entitled South of Reality.
