Putnam Place
In the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs, NY, is live music venue Putnam Place. With frequent local, regional, and national touring acts, Putnam Place is conveniently located next to the Caroline Street entertainment district. The venue is built to house a wide variety of events from 50-500 guests.
The Putnam Place touts the largest LED wall in the region, complimenting its raised stage and state-of-the-art sound system. The venue also features an outdoor patio and a long, full-service bar. Many drinks are named after bands, such as the Grateful Dead or “The Hendrix.”
Work started in 2017 to turn what was once the Putnam Den into the Putnam Place. This work was completed in 2018, and the venue has since enjoyed being the premiere dance and music venue in Saratoga Springs.
The Putnam Place has hosted numerous notable musicians, including Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Bernie Worrell of Parliament Funkadelic and Tom Constanten of the Grateful Dead, as well as Twiddle, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, White Denim, The Wood Brothers, Melvin Seals and JGB, Robert Randolph, The Revivalists, Wyclef Jean, Ghostface Killah, Goose among many others.
