Phil Lesh and Friends make their return to Lockn’ festival this August in Arrington, VA, performing Sat., Aug. 27 & Sun., Aug. 28th, joining an already stacked line-up that includes bands like Phish, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Umphrey’s McGee, My Morning Jacket, Vulfpeck, Turkuaz and many more.
This will be the fourth Lockn’ that the Grateful Dead bassist will perform at, first appearing with Further in 2013, the festival’s first year, and later with Phil Lesh & Friends the two consecutive years after that.
In addition, another exciting tidbit is that Phil Lesh, for the first time ever, will be performing a New Year’s Eve run in Hawaii this year. He will be joined by son Grahame Lesh, Ross James and Scott law on guitar, Jason Crosby on keys and Alex Koford on drums.
The group performs at the Castle Theater in Maui on Dec., 29th and the Hawaii Theater New Year’s Eve.
