moe. Adds Tour Dates Following Cancer Scare

Following the sigh of relief from bassist Rob Derhak’s cancer-free diagnosis, comes renewed tour dates coming up in February 2018. When news first broke of the cancer scare, the group cancelled the majority of their shows but have started to fill some of these slots, starting with two shows at the State Theatre in Portland, ME on Feb. 16 & 17 and a return to the Palace Theatre in Albany on Feb. 23 & 24.

Derhak made a statement in a press release saying: “After being scanned, poked, and prodded my doctors have given me a green light… Although I’ll need to continue the doctors’ visits for the next five years, they’ve given me a clean bill of health and declared me cancer free, with only a minimal chance that it will return. So thank you to everyone that was pulling for me. The support I received was instrumental in helping me get through this. I am truly looking forward to seeing everyone when I hit the stage again this February, with moe.”

Due to the expected high demand, tickets will be offered to fans in a lottery. Click here and follow the page instructions to be entered in the drawing. Pricing for these tickets may be incorrect but fans should be prepared to spend a pretty penny for their ticket, if they’re lucky enough to get selected.  According to Ticketmaster, the remaining seats are in the orchestra section and all cost $35 each.
