The Dirty Pennies Touring the Northeast in September

Rochester rock trio The Dirty Pennies will be venturing out to play shows throughout the Northeast the first weekend in September. Their tour will see them in Boston on Sept. 4, Philadelphia on Sept. 5, New Haven on Sept. 6, and Burlington on Sept. 7. Joining them on tour is NYC garage rock band Birdgangs. Information and tickets for the tour dates are available here.

In addition to this run, The Dirty Pennies are on the bill for the Fairport Music Festival in Rochester on Aug. 24 and a show at Stamps in North Tonawanda on Sept. 27.

The Dirty Pennies released a 3-song EP entitled EP earlier this year. Their high-energy set will include these new songs as well as fan favorites from their 2017 debut album Kick Out The Rocks.

Birdgangs self-identifies as “punk rock Johnny Cash.” It’s an apt description for their blend of garage rock, blues, and surf rock.
