Albany’s Alive at Five concert series has announced its return for the 30th season on June 6. Concerts will take place at the Jennings Landing location along the riverfront.
Alive at Five is a free concert series that premiered in the summer of 1990 with a performance by folk legend Richie Havens, and has since became a summertime tradition in the Capital Region. Beginning on June 6 and running through August 1 (with the exception of July 4), the lineup features a variety of well-known acts, up-and-comers and some of the most talented original local and regional musicians covering a variety of genres. The concerts take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday nights. Full schedule of events can be found online.

Music is a way of life for Emily, the love for live music took over after Phish's Clifford Ball, her first concert experience. The rest is history; hundreds of shows, and many more to come. She operates her own business, WielHouse Management, providing band management, booking, social media and other relevant services to regional and local artists. Emily also volunteers with The Waterwheel Foundation, REVERB, and GrooveSafe. Guaranteed to run into her on the rail somewhere between Chuck and Rob.
