Adult Mom Embarks on Regional Tour

Adult Mom started as the solo project of Stephanie Knipe in Purchase, NY in 2012. The first EP was self-recorded in their room. They’ve come a long way since then. They have added band members (Bruce Hamilton and Olivia Battell) and signed to Tiny Engines, through which they released two albums. Their latest release is an EP with cover songs of Kathleen Edwards, Brandi Carlile and The Swell Season. Adult Mom has announced a couple European dates this summer, but before they cross the Atlantic again, they’ve booked a tour in the Northeast with New York’s gobbinjr and Long Neck.

Tour kicks off on Thursday, May 2 at The Colony in Woodstock, and heads to The Bug Jar in Rochester on May 3. They swing through Toronto and New England before hitting Brooklyn’s Park Church Co-op on May 9. From there, they head to DC before wrapping up on May 11 in Pittsburgh.

Some Covers Track List: Left and Leaving – The Weakerthans; Cannonball – Brandi Carlile; In These Arms – The Swell Season; I’ll Come Too – James Blake; Mercury – Kathleen Edwards. CD’s can be ordered on their website.
