Drew Carey & Whose Live Cast Are Coming To Kingston?

For more than a decade, homemakers and hookey players have watched Drew Carey give new cars to the best bidders and Caribbean cruises to savvy shoppers. Before reminding The Price Is Right viewers to get their pets spayed or neutered, he was the eponymous star of The Drew Carey Show and ringleader of Whose Line Is It Anyway? On April 12, he’ll be centerstage at Kingston’s UPAC with his crew of comedians performing Whose Live Anyway?

Joining Carey in Kingston for a night of impromptu sketch-skits will be fellow Whose Line? veteran Greg Proops, comedian Jeff B. Davis and actor Joel Murray. Proops, a California comic, stars in his The Smartest Man In The World podcast. Fellow Californian Jeff Davis is another Whose Live? regular and has worked on the Sarah Silverman Show. Murray, who infamously binged office drinking as Freddy Rumsen in Mad Men, can also be seen in Mike and Molly and Two and a Half Men.

If you score tickets to the improv program, come prepared to join in the action. There’s sure to be song, dance and audience participation. Whereas traditional stand up comedians perform scripted routines night in and night out, the Whose Live? cast shoots from their hips. When they take the stage, the audience will provide outrageous scenarios while the cast improvises to elicit elation. The Kingston crowd can expect the unexpected for 90 minutes of knee-slapping laughter.

Whose Live Anyway? takes place at 8 pm at UPAC in Kingston on Friday, April 12. Come prepared with your baudiest suggestions and purchase tickets here.
