Bonnaroo 2018 Lineup Announced

With a slew of 2018 festival announcements on the way, the 17th annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival lineup was announced today, setting the bar high for larger bills to follow. This run around, the Manchester, TN spectacular will pack a punch from June 7-10 with over 150 artists to entertain a larger-than-life crowd, traveling from all four corners of the states.

The 700 acre space of Tennessee nature will offer lovers of live music a four day camping festival with over 10 stages on “The Farm” at Great Stage Park, with a star-studded roster boasting performances by Eminem, The Killers and Muse as official headliners. Other must-see acts include Muse, Future, Bassnectar, Sturgill Simpson, Bon Iver, Khalid, Kaskade, Paramore, Alt-J, The Revivalists, Virtual Self, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Rufus Du Sol, Chromeo, STS9, Alison Wonderland, Moon Taxi, BROCKHAMPTON, Old Crow Medicine Show, Broken Social Scene, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Thundercat, Mavis Staples, dozens of comedians and even jam favorites Spafford and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.

Maintaining its reputation and keeping happy campers close, Bonnaroo has decided to make countless improvements. The well-lit communal areas known as pods, will now be called plazas slated to include shade, free public WiFi, showers, fun activities and art, charging stations, Clean Vibes Trading Post redemption centers, misting stations, medical, safety stations, information and portable restrooms. Appealing to the festivals aesthetic, multiple “barns” will be placed on site with hopes to create a more lively scene and wooded hangouts in the campgrounds. Creating a way for fans to stay connected to the free spirits they meet on site, Droolworthy Food with Celebrity Chef Tim Love have plans for a special community-focused area based on all things culinary, as well as House of Yes, Little Cinema, The Well, Tonalism by DUBLAB and The B-Hive Under the Tower.

Themed, communal campgrounds will also be put into place for Groop Camping experiences including one created by festival veteran and superfan Matt Shultz of Cage the Elephant. Camping with your friends always takes priority but if you’re flying solo, you can check out “Solo Roo’ers Camp” for those looking for new relationships and “SheROO by MOTHERSHIP” for those who identify as female (a portion of this camp’s proceeds are going to benefit the Tegan and Sara Foundation.) Camping for families, musicians and those who are sober are also made available. Making a comeback in 2018 is the Kalliope stage, providing festival dwellers with late night DJing into the wee hours of the morning. With such large attendance, Bonnaroo can pride itself for being one of the most environmentally friendly fests with their initiatives to compost on site, use solar power and collect food for the hungry.

Escape into the excitement that is Bonnaroo 2018. All tickets go on sale this Friday, Jan. 12 at 10:00 a.m. ET, exclusively via Bonnaroo’s website.
