Railroad Earth Will Bring Horn O’ Plenty Back to Sherman Theatre

Fans of progressive bluegrass will have much to be thankful for in a few weeks when Railroad Earth returns to Stroudsburg, PA’s The Sherman Theatre for their two night Horn O’ Plenty run. Taking place on Friday November 24 and Saturday November 25, these shows will be the seventh annual Horn O’ Plenty event for the band.

It has been a busy, musically transcendent year for Railroad Earth, who seem to only be getting better over time. This summer saw them return to huge venues like Red Rocks and rock a debut appearance at the sixteenth annual moe.down. Just last weekend, they hosted their annual Halloween event, The Hangtown Ball, where they played three full nights of music beside artists like Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Greensky Bluegrass, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real and others. And just this past weekend, the band played the half time show for the Knicks at Madison Square Garden!

Amidst all of this excitement, the Horn O’ Plenty shows should still stand out as the performance highlight that they always are, especially since Railroad Earth will continue the tradition of inviting a couple of musical guests to share the bill. In previous years, Horn O’ Plenty guests have included Gov’t Mule’s Danny Louis, Cabinet, Boris Garcia and more. Just last year, a bill with jamband group Circles Around The Sun allowed for a very special collaboration between Railroad Earth and psychedelic guitar wizard Neal Casal.

The band promises to announce the guests for this year’s shows soon, so stay tuned! To find more information and purchase tickets, visit railroad.earth.
