Guthrie Bell Brings Eric Krasno, Ryan Montbleau, Rickie Lee Jones & More to Capital Region

Guthrie Bell Productions brings a host of great acts to the area and this month features several not-to-be-missed shows from some local and nationally-known performers. The Hollow in Albany and the Cohoes Music Hall get some big names throughout the month, including Todd Sheaffer of Railroad Earth, Eric Krasno and Rickie Lee Jones.

The Guthrie Bell shows this month kick off tonight with Todd Sheaffer of Railroad Earth playing a solo show at The Hollow in Albany. Adam Brockway of Eastbound Jesus opens. Doors open at 8 p.m. with the show starting at 9:30 p.m. Next Friday, Oct. 13, also at The Hollow, sees the Eric Krasno Band with Hartley’s Encore. The Blind Owl Band hosts an album release party for their third album, Skeezy Patty, the next night, Saturday, Oct. 14, with Grassroots Rebels kicking off the festivities. Also on Saturday, Oct. 14 is Black Mountain Symphony at the Parish Public House in Albany. Closing out the month at The Hollow are Jimkata on Thursday, Oct. 26 with the Late Shift and Start Making Sense, paying tribute to the Talking Heads, on Saturday, Oct. 28.

The Cohoes Music Hall will see some major acts later this month. The Wailers come to town on Tuesday, Oct. 17. Local reggae act Dr. Jah and the Love Prophets opens. On Friday, Oct. 20, Ryan Montbleau brings his funky singer/songwriter sound to the Music Hall supported by the Eastern Highs. The following night, Saturday, Oct. 21, Melvin Seals and JGB make an appearance. Rickie Lee Jones brings her songwriting magic on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
