Joywave will be joined by Kopps, The Aces, and The Demos at their show at Anthology in Rochester on Nov. 11. The hometown show marks the beginning of Joywave’s “Thanks. Thanks For Coming 2017” tour. The Aces will provide support throughout the tour, with Maybird and The Demos on select dates. A limited number of tickets for the Rochester show are available. Tickets for the remainder of the tour go on sale Friday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m.
Joywave answered their 2015 debut LP’s question How Do You Feel Now? with this year’s sophomore LP Content. The new album is chock full of alt-rock/synth-pop goodness from the distortion-heavy title track to the closing ballad. The surf-rock inspired song “It’s A Trip!” is currently perched at #25 on the Billboard Alternative chart.
