New York bands Basilisk and West Berlin will be on the road the latter half of July. The whirlwind tour kicks off in Allentown on July 14. They play Staten Island the next day, then wind their way down the East Coast, across the South, and back up the Midwest before landing back in New York for a finale on Long Island on July 29.
Basilisk hails from Long Island. The metalcore band released its debut EP Better Days in March. They’ve opened for the likes of Blessthefall, The Color Morale, and The World Alive, and done some shows in NY and its environs. This will be their most extensive tour yet. Syracuse’s West Berlin released its debut album The Northern Misery last spring, followed by the singles “Age” and “104.” In addition to touring in and around NY, this melodic hardcore band with heart has performed at the iMatter Festival in Elmira and Hardcore for the Homeless in Rochester. Their music is available to stream and purchase on Bandcamp. Merchandise is up on their webstore.
