Attention Blood Legion, In This Moment has announced their plans to bring its “Half God Half Devil,” tour to nineteen different cities across North America. The tour will see support by a jam packed lineup that consists of Motionless In White, Avatar, and Gemini Syndrome.
The “Beautiful Tragedy” will kick off April 4, at the Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, WI, and will finish traveling through “A Star-Crossed Wasteland” on May 5, at the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, TN.
Albany’s Palace Theatre on Apr. 19, will be the only stop on the tour in NY State. Rock and metal fans from the capital region of upstate N.Y., hold In This Moment near and dear to their hearts, as frontwoman Maria Brink, is a Schenectady native.
In This Moment is slated to make some rounds on the festival circuit as well in 2017, including Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville, and Carolina Rebellion. Since their formation in 2005, In This Moment has released five studio albums, with its current album, Black Widow (2014), debuting at #8 on the Billboard 200.
In a recent interview with Bands In Town, guitarist and band co-founder Chris Howorth, chatted about the upcoming tour, and when fans can expect new music from the band.
On whether there are any specific dates on the tour the band is excited to play:
Maria is really excited for her hometown show in Albany and we are just excited for the whole tour in general-we are in a very fortunate place in our career where we are able to play some really beautiful venues. It makes touring extra fun when the venues are legit!
What songs benefit from the live stage productions:
Well, we always try to utilize the stage set up to make every song special in it’s own way. Maria uses the stage design and props to enhance each song and bring the message or story to life for the crowd.
What new things fans can expect on from the upcoming tour:
Fans can anticipate a whole new show, from new songs, to new choreography for existing songs. We’ve vowed to make sure every tour we do is updated from the last one. We are putting everything we have into the new show.
On when fans can expect new music from ITM:
Yes, it’s true we have been in the studio for the last four months and we are finishing up (as I write this) the last two songs. We are very happy excited about this new stuff-our fans are gonna be hearing new music very soon and we are looking at a summer release date.
Tickets to the Live Nation sponsored event go on sale to the general public on Feb. 10, with ticket prices ranging between $27.50 – $32.
