Diet Cig Releases Single ‘Tummy Ache,’ Announces Debut Album and Tour Dates

New Paltz’s punk pop powerhouse Diet Cig  announced the completion of their debut album, Swear I’m Good At This, and released the first single, “Tummy Ache.” Dynamic Duo Alex Luciano (guitar and vocals) and Noah Bowman (drums) will be bringing their spunky, energetic show on the road, spanning the US and playing the prestigious SXSW Festival.

In the same vein as the songs on the 2015 EP Over Easy, “Tummy Ache” sounds sweet, but packs a powerful punch. In a statement, the band said:

“Tummy Ache’ is all about unpacking the feeling of approaching punk with radical softness, and the struggle when it’s not always read as powerful or cool or whatever enough. Its the shout into my pillow when what I’m saying isn’t being heard, and a big old I FEEL YA to all the femme folks creating space for themselves in a world that wants to keep us quiet.”

Swear I’m Good At This will be released on April 7 via Frenchkiss Records. Pre-order HERE to get instant access to “Tummy Ache.”
