Governors Ball Lineup Includes Tool, Wu-Tang Clan

The Governors Ball Music Festival announced the initial lineup for their seventh year will include Tool, Wu-Tang Clan and Greenwich’s electro-rock duo Phantogram.

Governors Ball, taking place June 2 to 4 on Randall’s Island in New York City, brings a strong lineup for the 2017 festival. Headlining the festival is Tool, who returned to touring last year after a nearly 3 year hiatus. French indie rock band Phoenix and hip hop artists Chance the Rapper and Childish Gambino, who have hinted at a joint project, are also among the top acts performing at this year’s festival. The lineup features well-known bands and artists from hip hop to modern alternative rock, including Warpaint, The Head and the Heart, Wiz Khalifa and Marshmello.

A very limited number of early bird and advanced price tickets go on sale beginning Friday, Jan. 6 at noon. Ticket prices start at $275 for a three-day early bird pass and $600 for early bird VIP passes. A ticket giveaway is also available on the festival’s Facebook page.
