Aqueous Joins Twiddle for Spring 2017 Tour

Buffalo groove rockers Aqueous announced they will be joining Vermont quartet Twiddle on the road for twelve dates in February and March. The two bands will head west with a pair of shows in Boulder, Colorado in mid February. The currently announced dates also include shows in Aqueous’s hometown of Buffalo as well as shows in New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and New York City.

As Twiddle’s fan base continues to grow, the band has expanded their venue size. Shows on this tour include larger theater sized rooms like the Boulder Theater, the Town Ballroom in Buffalo and the PlayStation Theater in New York City.

The announcement comes after Aqueous’s opening slot at Twiddle’s Palace Theatre New Year’s Eve show  in Albany. Over the last year, Aqueous guitarist Mike Gantzer has made several sit-ins with Twiddle, including performances at College Street Music Hall in Connecticut and this summer’s Canalside series in Buffalo.

As part of the tour, Aqueous will be making its debut at the Town Ballroom. Guitarist/keyboardist Dave Loss told NYS Music it’s an honor for the band to finally get the chance to play its hometown’s most decorated venue. “Living in Buffalo, the Town Ballroom has always been a place I’ve only dreamed of playing. I can’t even tell you how many amazing shows I’ve seen in that venue. So many of my favorites. A lot of shows that really made me what to continue and pursue music even further. It’s a special place so I feel honored to have the opportunity to play there.”

Ganzter noted that “From a guitar player’s stand point, Mihali and I seem to share a really cool connection. He’s always the first to be inclusive and have members of Aqueous come up to jam with them, so I’m certainly looking forward to that and to playing in some of the coolest venues in the country in 2017.”
