Electric Forest Initial Line Up Brings Stacked Bill Over Two Weekends

Electric Forest released its phase one line-up yesterday, with artists such as The String Cheese, Bassnectar, ODESZA, My Morning Jacket, Big Gigantic, Thievery Corporation, Lotus, Khruangbin, Lettuce, Claude VonStroke and many more. This is the seventh installment of the popular festival in Rothbury, Michigan.

This year Electric Forest revealed that the festival will be scheduled across two consecutive weekends for the first time in the festival’s history on June 22- June 25 and June 29-July 2, 2017. You can see the full line-up for both weekends below.

Electric Forest shared a message of hope and a call to action along with their initial line-up announcement, urging readers to “Listen to new ideas, listen to difference, listen to the creative, listen to those in the margins, and listen to expression from music.” The message also says “Now is the time to search for a new wisdom that community can provide. We seek a new center through understanding each other, and inspiring one another through actions of unity and hope.” You can read the full post here.

According to a press release, The String Cheese Incident will be performing for the seventh year in a row, and this time on both weekends of the festival, with a special SCI Lab Live Experience on the first weekend, and a SCI Saturday Night Shebang on the second one.

Ticket information is avaialable at the festival website. Loyalty program sale begins on November 29 at 12 p.m. EST on the Electric Forest website. General sale begins on December 8 at 12 p.m. The Electric Forest Shuttle passes will also go on sale on Dec. 8.
