Gallery: Albany’s 68th Annual Tulip Festival Brings Plenty of Sunshine, Music

The City of Albany’s 68th Annual Tulip Festival evaded a menacing forecast for potential rain and even brought a pleasant of sunshine for a fun weekend of music, celebrating Mother’s Day, and of course the spring tulip bloom.

Saturday’s lineup of music on the Local 518 stage included Olivia Quillio, Carl Daniels & The Black Box, Victory Soul Orchestra, and Stockade Kids. The main stage brought The Parlor, Tokyo Police Club, and Langhorne Slim & The Law.

Sunday’ Local 518 stage featured Red Haired Strangers, Bear Grass, Of the atlas, and The Last Conspirators. The main stage kicked off with Albany-based Jim Gaudet & The Railroad Boys and included McKinley James and Jonathan Edwards.

The weekend also included plenty of food vendors, a craft fair, family activities and music for the kids.
