The freshman year at the Lakeview Ampitheatre is rounding out to be a nice mix of genres to appease all music lovers. From the hard rock sounds of the Van Warped Tour and Slipknot, to the top jam band Phish, to pop and alternative sounds with Daryl Hall & John Oates and 5 Seconds of Summer, classical sounds of the Symphoria, and of course the crowd pleasing country lineup we previously announced, the venue has a little bit of everything for everyone. Lakeview’s lineup recently came under fire for its lack of diversity, the announcement of Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s The High Road tour coming to the venue should help to round out all genres this year putting to rest any scuttle on the subject of diversity. In addition, all those Central New York fans who were disappointed with Snoop Dogg’s backing out of the Great NY State Fair last year, will be happy to finally welcome him to the area.
Tickets went on sale Friday, April 8 at noon through Live Nation, Ticketmaster, the Oncenter Box Office and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Prices are $25 for lawn admission and $40.75, $60.75 and $70.75 for pavilion seats.
