It’s been a few years in the making, four years actually. The promised Grateful Dead tribute, curated by brothers Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National, is finally seeing the light of day.

The Day of the Dead album is a follow-up to the 2009 Red Hot album Dark Was The Night, also produced by the Dessners. That 32-track album has raised over $1.5 million to date for the Red Hot organization.
