Shinedown to Headline The Carnival of Madness Tour

Bandsintown has announced that after a brief hiatus, the Carnival of Madness tour will make its way back to the United States.

The sixth annual Carnival of Madness tour will once again be headlined by Shinedown, with special guest Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry and Whiskey Myers. These bands are no strangers to the Carnival of Madness tour; this will mark Shinedown’s fifth appearance on it, with Halestorm and Blackstone Cherry making numerous past appearances as well.

The concert app also posted a video of artists from each band introducing themselves to fans for the upcoming tour.

Shinedown, Halestorm and Black Stone Cherry all toured as part of the first U.K. edition of the Carnival of Madness that kicked off 2016. This edition of the tour will now head off on a two-month summer run traveling through 17 cities across the United States, replacing Highly Suspect with Whiskey Myers.

The madness will begin in Southhaven, Mississippi, at the Landers Center on July 20, and come to an end in Detroit, Michigan at the DTE Energy Music Theater on Aug. 18. The Amphitheatre at Coney Island in Brooklyn will see the lone New York date on the tour Aug. 7. New Yorkers can also catch both Shinedown and Halestorm as they perform on separate days this summer at the first ever Rock’n Derby festival in Schaghticoke this May.

Shinedown will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday, April 13. Shinedown’s current single, “State Of My Head,” is the band’s 10th single that has reached No. 1 on the rock charts. “State of my Head” put Shinedown in a category all by itself, as the only band to have all 20 singles it has released reach the top 10 or higher on the rock charts. Shinedown’s fifth studio album, Threat To Survival, reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 1 on the Billboard hard rock chart.
