MAYfest, which stands for “Music Art Yoga,” will be held May 27 to 29 at Surprise Lake Camp, just outside the Hudson Valley hamlet of Cold Spring. The two-day, three-night,  family-friendly festival offers a variety of musical entertainment, art classes and yoga classes throughout the weekend. During the day, attendees can choose from painting, drawing, collage, printmaking and many other classes offered by the Garrison Art Center. More than 40 different yoga, meditation and pilates classes will be offered throughout the day as well, including the return of Sadie Nardini, who will teach classes indoors as well as on stage with her band.

The music at MAYfest happens each night on two stages until 1 a.m. In addition to the headliners, Pink Talking Fish will perform in a special collaboration with Elise Testone. Ryan Montbleau will bring his fusion of folk, blues and funk. In addition to Turkuaz and Elise Testone, the other bands representing New York are the folk duo Mike & Ruthy, “mountain soul-grass” band The Breakneck Boys, and Hudson Valley trio Tall Country. New England is heavily represented in the lineup with Rhode Island’s Will Evans, Connecticut’s Funky Dawgz Brass Band and three bands from Massachusetts – Ballroom Thieves, The Primate Fiasco and Hayley Jane & The Primates.

Tickets for MAYfest are on sale now.
