The band features Danny Mayer (Alan Evans Trio) on guitar, Todd Stoops (RAQ) on keyboards, Michelangelo Carubba (Turkuaz) on drums and Jed Lingat (Timothy Bloom) on bass, as well as some special guests. The three-night run includes stops in Bridgeport, Connecticut, as previously reported, and Providence, Rhode Island before closing out in Brooklyn. Tickets for all three nights are available now.

Elise Testone began studying music in her early childhood at the age of 5. She performed publicly through her teens in local coffeehouses. From the press release:

At the age of 27, she was approached by a scout from American Idol and became a top 6 finalist on the hit show in 2012. Testone lives in Brooklyn, NY and performs her original music with her own band, as well as the James Brown Dance Party.

In the wake of her appearance on American Idol, Testone has toured extensively and has appeared on such popular TV programs as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Live with Kelly, Access Hollywood, Good Day New York, Good Morning America and others. Testone’s original music has drawn comparisons to legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, James Brown, and Lauryn Hill.
