As one of the live music scene’s most anticipated acts, Muse has just announced the first four U.S. tour dates.

As of now, these are the only four U.S. dates on their Drones tour and they are on the West Coast. While these shows are far from New York, it comes with exciting news that the Capitol District’s PHANTOGRAM will be on board for the ride.

The band recently released their seventh studio album Drones and are embarking on a worldwide tour in support of the album. According to their website, additional dates will be announced later. Fans will get a unique 360-degree experience with the stage set in the middle of the venues.

The 518 will be righteously represented on these four shows. Saratoga Springs’ PHANTOGRAM has been announced as the opening act for these four shows. The band rose from relative obscurity playing around New York’s Capitol District at their formation in 2007 under the name Charlie Everywhere (they changed to PHANTOGRAM a few years later).

In recent years, they’ve garnered national attention, receiving radio airplay across the country and making numerous festival appearances. Check out a performance from May 2011 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s student union in Troy:

Public on sale for these four shows begins Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. with a special presale starting 9 a.m. on Sept. 23.
