Billy & the Kids have rescheduled their set that was unfortunately cancelled due to storms in local Charlottesville, VA for this evening.  Their set will be held at The Jefferson Theater and special guests, that will inlcude Dominick Lalli and John Popper.

Strangefolk has also rescheduled their cancelled set, and it is now to be held at The Whiskey Jar in Charlottesville at 10pm.  They have hinted to something special to occur on Saturday as well, so stay tuned for more updates.

Hot off the presses, please be advised the show must go on.  We have been advised by festival staff that tonight The Southern Belles have booked an “Emergency Lemonade Jam” at The Ante Room in Charlottesville, VA.  Special performances featuring Rockn’ to Lockn’, DC area winners Moogatu, and local up and comers Kings of Belmont will kick the festival off despite the storm that tried to put a damper on festivities.

Moogatu’s performance at Lockn’ was cancelled due to weather along with sets from Strangefolk, Deer Tick, Soulive, Little Feat, The String Cheese Incident, Billy & the Kids, The Doobie Brothers, Mickey Hart & EOTO, and Galactic.

We are told that The Southern Belles are still scheduled to perform on Sunday at 12:30pm as planned.
