After a 2-year hiatus, jam electronica pioneers The New Deal are back. Keyboardist Jamie Shields and bassist Dan Kurtz will be joined by new drummer Joel Stouffer when they come to the Historic German House in the South Wedge neighborhood of Rochester on May 28. The time off and new lineup promise to reinvigorate their already invigorating infectious dance grooves.
Omnipresent Rochester instrumental progressive jammers Ocular Panther open the show at 8pm, so plan to be there early. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketfly for $22.50 or at the ButaPub downstairs from the venue. Tickets will be $25 at the door.
