Iconic alt-rock band Spin Doctors have announced a 35th-anniversary tour for Pocket Full of Kryptonite, their 1991 debut album. The tour will take place in February and March of 2027 and will include a stop at Irving Plaza in Manhattan.
Spin Doctors formed their band in New York City in 1998 and have become beloved alt-roc icons over the course of their decades-long career. They are best known for their hits “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong,” each of which earned a spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2025, the band released Face Full of Cake, their first album in 12 years. Since their previous release in 2013 of If the River Was Whiskey, bassist Jack Daley has joined the group, which still includes founding members Chris Barron, Aaron Comess, and Eric Schenkman.
During Spin Doctors’ Pocket Full of Kryptonite anniversary tour shows, they will perform the entire album from front to back, in addition to a number of additional fan favorites from throughout their career. Frontman Chris Barron reflected, “When we made that album, there was a palpable sensation that we were catching something magical. It’s gratifying and fulfilling to have people still loving it and wanting to hear us play something we did all those years ago.”
