The Electric Brew Music Festival is returning Saturday, September 12 to Walnut Bar & Grill in the Bronx for a third straight year. Put on by production brand Sirens & Kings, the festival will feature regional and local DJs merging EDM, house and perreo beats.
Sirens & Kings is a collaboration between two production companies, Sounds & Sirens and The Fox & King.

Sounds & Sirens, founded by DJ Mike Nickerson, is a family-run Bronx business focused on offering bands and DJs live events, promotion and planning. Nickerson has transformed his late father Mike Nickerson Sr. ‘s audio business ran out of his car and home. Now, Sounds & Sirens is an event entertainment and production company.
The Fox & King Inc., founded by Fernando Michael in 2011, centers around booking and artist development. Born and raised in the Bronx, Fernando founded TFAT and has worked with industry professionals, music festivals and a variety of artists. Recently, he has joined the Music Advisory Board of the Bronx Music Heritage Center.
The two joined forces to curate events like Electric Brew in 2019. The Bronx-based companies put on the first Bronx Summer Jam in 2022 in an effort to cultivate and re-invigoration of live shows in the Bronx after COVID-19.

“The Bronx has a legacy like no other borough. Creatives following their dream, small business owners on the grind and emerging artists chasing the stage,” Michael said. “Electric Brew is the latest piece of this uptown dream, and in our third year, we’re determined to make our mark.”
The first Electric Brew was in 2023 in collaboration with Walnut Bar & Grill to bring food, involve local breweries, small businesses and vendors to the indoor-outdoor concert. Latin and bodega beats will flow from two stages — one inside, one outside.
The stages, one for each collaborating company, will feature different artists. The Kings stage will feature DJs like Morisonando, Agent DMZ, Mota, KayKay47 and more. Sirens stage features BDM, Thankyoueddin, Disco Curandera, Who That Zack and more.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. and won’t close until midnight. Tickets are on sale here.
