As a part of their “Last Farewell Tour” this summer, the band Little Feat will perform two shows in New York. This May, they will perform in Fairport and Troy, NY. The band has also announced a new music video and details about an upcoming documentary.

Little Feat has additionally released a new music video for their classic song “Long Distance Love.” The song was re-recorded with Amy Helm during the pandemic. It debuted on February 3 on Relix.Com and can be watched here. This version of “Long Distance Love” will be available on all digital outlets on Thursday, February 5.
The music video and new version of “Long Distance Love” was an important experience for the band.
Scott Sharrad highlighted that, “The track is a testament to resiliency in the face of adversity, and a tribute to the band’s legacy, and our incredible musical community of fans and musical collaborators. Amy Helm has been a good friend to us all for many years, and signing this track with her was like a family reunion that really added the special sauce to this reinterpretation.”
In addition, Little Feat also has a documentary about them. The Documentary Little Feat: The Documentary follows the band’s half-century journey to who they are today. The film is directed by Director Jesse Lauter, who has worked on it for several years. The documentary includes archival footage and never-before-seen interviews with Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello, Michael McDonald, and members of the Grateful Dead, The Doobie Brothers, and Phish.
The film, narrated by Jeff Bridges, will premiere at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival on Saturday, February 21, at the Wilma Theatre in Missoula, Montana. Tickets can be purchased here.
