Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) announced the return of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) for its highly anticipated 2025 summer residency, curated by artistic directors Wu Han and David Finckel.
The season will take place from June 15 to August 17 at the Spa Little Theater, bringing six captivating programs to Saratoga Springs.
This summer’s Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center residency at SPAC brings an electrifying mix of rising stars and audience favorites to the Spa Little Theater stage. Making their highly anticipated debuts are the acclaimed Viano Quartet,recent recipients of the 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant, and alongside pianists George Li and Sahun Sam Hong, whose artistry and technical brilliance have earned them global recognition. Joining them are clarinetist Sebastian Manz, known for his bold and expressive style, and hornist Nathaniel Silberschlag, whose lyrical playing marks him as a standout of his generation.
Returning to SPAC are beloved artists including violinist Stella Chen, cellist Sterling Elliott, and violist Matthew Lipman, all of whom have become favorites for their captivating performances and deep musicality. With this dynamic roster curated by Artistic Directors Wu Han and David Finckel, the season promises an unforgettable journey through chamber music’s most treasured works, interpreted by some of today’s most exciting talents
The Chamber Music Society’s 2025 series begins June 15 with “Beethoven and Dvořák”, followed by “Great Sonatas” on June 22, a Mendelssohn-focused program on July 13, and Beethoven’s Quintet for Piano and Winds on July 20. The Viano Quartet makes their SPAC debut August 10, and the series concludes August 17 with a stirring program of Shostakovich and Dohnányi.
