Support Women Djs, a rave community based in New York City, is hosting an all-day, 24-hour femme DJ marathon at their studio in Brooklyn on Sunday, March 30th. The event is celebrating the finale of International Women’s Month and spotlighting the incredible femme talent shaping New York’s nightlife.
This event is open to DJs of any genre, and all ticket sales support the Violence Intervention Program, a Latina-led organization providing resources to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in NYC. The event will also be live-streamed on Twitch so that anyone from anywhere can watch.
Support Women DJs focuses on creating female and gender-inclusive-oriented events, creating a space for women to connect and enjoy music while also providing opportunities for female DJs in a heavily male-dominated scene. Support Women Djs creates a space where women can have fun and explore their creativity while feeling safe!
