Oysterhead, String Cheese, JRAD to Headline Peach

The Peach Music Festival will be held July 4th weekend next summer. The initial lineup for the annual Scranton, PA festival was announced on Friday and includes a reunited Oysterhead — the supergroup comprised of Trey Anastasio (Phish), Les Claypool (Primus) and Stewart Copeland (The Police) — two sets of String Cheese Incident, two sets of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead with guest bassist Oteil Burbridge, and Umphrey’s McGee.

Also included in the lineup is the recently announced collaboration of Turkuaz with Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads fame along with Adrian Belew (King Crimson), who performed with Talking Heads during the Remain in Light era. They will be celebrating 40 years of that landmark album.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, moe., Twiddle, Aqueous and Rebelution were also named in the initial announcement that includes 48 bands. Additional acts will be named later.

Early bird tickets for the July 2-5 event are on sale now. Prices start at $149. For more information, visit the festival’s website here.
