The Hudson Valley Blues Society Presents Victor Wainwright and the Train at Daryl’s House Club

The Hudson Valley Blues Society presents 2019 Grammy Nominee and multi-award winning artist, Victor Wainwright, performing at Daryl’s House Club in Pawling on Aug. 28. Wainwright, a renowned pianist and performer, known for power-house blues, soul, and roots. Wainwright is supported by a strong backing band with a new horn section called the Train. With a recently released, critically acclaimed, self-titled album, Wainwright and his band are being called a “tour de force” in the Blues and American roots scene.

“It will be my honor to be able to work with, and introduce these incredible musicians to our area. Trust me, this is going to be a treat for the ears. There will be no disappointments,” commented HVBS President, Paul Toscano.

Victor Wainwright and the Train are set to perform at Daryl’s House Club, an intimate venue that will showcase the groups high energy live performance. The Special Sauce Band will open the show at 7 p.m. This blues band consists of five seasoned, Hudson Valley musicians; Kenny Williams (Bass), Doug Varady (guitars/vocals), Alan Copeland (drums/vocals), Gary Broderson(keys/vocals) and Paul Toscano (harmonica/vocals), they are all are members of the Hudson Valley Blues Society.
