What Not To Miss At Pleasantville Music Festival

Tomorrow, July 13, The Pleasantville Music Festival, also known as “New York’s Backyard Jam” will once again rock Westchester County with timeless acts including Everclear, Soul Asylum, Aimee Mann, Matthew Sweet, Bailen, and many more. Held at Parkway Field and hosting thousands, organizers want to be sure attendees are prepared for a fun day in the sun.

Pleasantville Music Festival takes great pride in providing a safe and enjoyable day for all, and they have sent out tips to help ensure a good day for everyone!

  • Bring your refillable water bottle or purchase a PMF bottle when you get to the event. Free water stations are available throughout the field.
  • Sunscreen. Apply. Reapply. Reapply again, especially if you feel like you’re sweating it off.
  • Sun can make its way through your hair, so wear a cap or purchase a PMF one when you get to the venue.
  • Grab some shade. Umbrellas are not allowed on the front field anymore, so finding a spot to grab a spot underneath our giant shade tent could do a world of good. And it’s first-come, first-serve. So arriving early could mean the best spot in the shade.

Food and drink, a beer & wine garden for the adults, fun activities to keep the kids happy, and a zero-waste program to keep the Earth happy are all things to look forward to at Pleasantville Music Festival. There will also be merchandise to buy, charities to learn about, and a warm, positive backyard vibe.

Tickets to the Pleasantville Music Festival presented by Westchester Medical Center are available through Ticketweb & the Pleasantville Rec Center. More information about the event and links to the artists performing can be found on their website.
