Scott Pemberton Band Heads to Central NY July 17, Harmonic Dirt to Open

Portland, OR-based Scott Pemberton Band, an electric power trio will be bringing its tour to Syracuse on July 17. Pemberton’s sound encompasses deep jazz, rock, grunge, blues and funk, which he has coined as “Timber Rock.” Gaining popularity on the festival circuit, the band brings a fresh, energy to the stage. Their latest LP Timber Rock has been very well received, placing in the top five on Billboard’s Tastemaker Chart, number one on Portland Pop Charts and has generated press headlines such as, “The Bruce Lee of Guitar” from Tahoe Onstage.

Central New York-based band, Harmonic Dirt will be playing in support this night at The Lost Horizon. Harmonic Dirt is a collaboration of multi-instrumentalist Mike Gridley and lyricist Susan Coleman and percussionist Taylor Bucci. The husband and wife duo of Coleman and Gridley are prolific songwriters, developing stories that draw from the rich heritage of American folk and roots music. The show starts at 8 p.m.
