French hardcore band Birds in Row make their way back to the States for a coast-to-coast tour with Listener, with support from Quentin Sauvé. The tour kicks off in Chicago on Sunday. They’re slated to play Buffalo’s Mohawk Place on Monday, May 6 and The Kingsland in Brooklyn on Wednesday, May 8.
Hailing from Arkansas, Listener is a spoken word indie rock band with eight albums and three EPs under their belt. Birds in Row released their full-length album You, Me, & The Violence via Deathwish last year. In addition to serving as bassist for Birds in Row, Quentin Sauvé has launched a solo project. His debut album Whatever It Takes features impassioned acoustic songs with post rock flourishes.
