The Mountain Goats have announced tour dates for this year, starting on the East Coast in April. One of the earliest shows will be at Brooklyn Steel on May 30. Tickets are on sale now. On their website, the band promises more news to come:
Good people of the Mountain Goats massive, we are pleased to report that we have sojourned for a season in the cave upon the hillside where the ancient crystals tremble; and have returned from thence with much news, of which you will all be soon made aware.
The first bit of this news is that we are going to tour like wild hounds.
